One of the biggest suggestions that has been put forward for the Sunday is to have something along the lines of a Powerbocking Olympics. I'd like to know your thoughts and ideas for this and see what we can make of it.

My thoughts are that for the most part it needs to me ALL about fun and not so much about the seriousness of what we're doing.
In other words, serious things like who can jump the highest, furthest, run fastest etc need to be done and dusted so we can have more fun games that everyone can take part in and will be reasonable entertainment for those simply watching.
I also think organisation needs to be simple and to the point because otherwise its going to turn into a logistical nightmare which I certainly cant be bothered dealing with. I dont have time or patience to get angry with a bocker because he's gone to the toilet when we're about to start a particualr event that he or she would probably excel at.
I'd really like it to be about personal achievements and people pushing their own skills further rather than comparing with other people. This means even bockers on their first day can enjoy learning new things and that people of all levels can increase their abilities.

This isn't a Sunday ( not start a new topic ).
If the weathers fine how about a late night bocking ?
With safety in mind anyone coming MUST have a bright ouftit on dayglo even ( maybe a torch ).

DK I'd planned a night bocking session and you wont need any bright clothes, there is no traffic in the bay area and its really nice down there at night time. I'm just not sure how many people will have the energy for it but its definately do-able.

I only said bright for added safety Smiley  Has you say there's little traffic .
I wasn't thinking a mad bock around the bay more a steady bock to see the sights at night.

If you want silly events something that's not just high/long jumping and speed bocking why not have things like.

Carrying a plastic cup of water on your head from one bucket to another. It would mean control bocking not speed.
The floor would get wet so maybe location could be moved around.

Hoof replacing . Change a hoof in the quickest time. You could use a broken spring as not to brake a good one ( not safe to use bock after event !? ).

Some events could be more self timed/measured you'd just need a clipbraod and a witness so no one need get stuck with the job !?

could just have events that u try to do something fun and quick and then u can try again after to beat your own score. makes it less competitive against other people and more about enjoyment and personal improvement
